Question Buy access for thread

Hello, I like to buy the eCommerce version. I am loking for an addon where users have to buy to read a thread. Is it possible with that ecommerce addon?

Not per-thread, no. You can sell access to a user group which you can change the forum permissions for, but that does not work per-thread.

The DragonByte Credits add-on: https://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/store/dragonbyte-credits.339/ allows you to set up an event to charge someone virtual currency every time they try to view a thread. You can also use [CHARGE] BBCode to permanently sell access to specific content within a post.

You can also set it up so you can purchase the virtual currency with real money.

No, because not every payment profile supports it. Services are meant to be one-time things like professional installation of software or something like that.

There's ample reminders for digital download licenses when they expire, though.
