Ok this isn't really a bug as such depending on how you look at it, on DB-tech the shoes do not tend to overlap the bottoms yet on my version i want the shoes to be a layer above the bottoms as technically speaking in real life you don't have your boots underneith your trousers as such and in vBavatars this makes some of the shoes look very odd (example in screenies) its probably a simple fix. if i'm able to do it then i'd love to know how and i'd do it for my version only, if you don't plan on a fix if you consider it not to be a bug (because technically its not a bug as such but a minor tweak) this affects all my sets but some of them look ok with the shoes being below but they cut off the detail that would show if the shoes were above trousers.

Anyhow i've posted some screenies below of what happens to my characters when shoes overlaps the bottoms and vise versa

As you say it's not really a bug, I'll implement a Layer Management interface in the next version though :)
