Bug 2 instances and mobile version

Help please.

I have installed vbShout and seem to have 2 instances of it showing. I chose to install it above the footer but it is showing twice.

Also I need this to work on the mobile version of my site - is this possible please.

Just to update you with more info....

I used to have vbshout years ago so perhaps this is legacy from that... also I have seen that there seems to be two instances in my control admin panel on admin (see attached image).

Check your templates for this code:

{vb:raw show.vbshout_instance1}

and remove it from any templates it's found in.

Also I need this to work on the mobile version of my site - is this possible please.

The Shoutbox is not designed with mobile styles in mind and the official Mobile Style in vB4 is not supported at this time, sorry

I have seen that there seems to be two instances in my control admin panel on admin (see attached image).

This can be resolved by deleting the following files from your /includes/xml folder:

• cpnav_vbshout.xml
• cpnav_vbshout_pro.xml
• bitfields_vbshout.xml
• bitfields_vbshout_pro.xml
• hooks_vbshout.xml
• hooks_vbshout_pro.xml

If any of these files are missing, skip that step. The correct files will have the following names:

• cpnav_dbtech_vbshout.xml
• cpnav_dbtech_vbshout_pro.xml
• bitfields_dbtech_vbshout.xml
• bitfields_dbtech_vbshout_pro.xml
• hooks_dbtech_vbshout.xml
• hooks_dbtech_vbshout_pro.xml
