    Email Integration

I'm currently using 4.2.2+ but assuming I'll have to upgrade at some point. Thanks for liking my post with advanced post thanks like(which I run on my site)...if I upgrade my live site to vB5 I won't need ATPL any more as there appear to be like buttons built into vB5 ;). However, being able...

How many of the dragonbyte-tech.com mods will run on vBulletin 5?

I'm just starting to look at vBulletin 5 now that the replacement for the CMS is here. Which of the dragonbyte mods will run on vBulletin 5? Also, is there a newsletter mod that presently runs on vB4 that will be supported in vB5?

    Email Integration

If this is email integration including contribution via email - I've been interested in this for years. I started playing around with the email integration mod on vbulletin.org when I was running vBulletin 3.x. Then vBulletin 4.x came along and I had to leave email integration because the mod...

    vB5 events calendar

I'm not sure whether this should be in pre-sales question area or here; feel free to move the post/thread should you need to, it won't offend me. I use vB4 including CMS, blogs, forum and calendar. The vB5 CMS replacement is now out but there is no events calendar in the latest vB5, nor a...

Bug Advanced post thanks like inactivates board after upgrade

I've just upgraded my test site to vBulletin 4.2.1 in advance of upgrading my main site. I disabled APTL before upgrade, finished the upgrade and switched on; the board ran. I then went back to plugins and re-enabled APTL and it disabled the board. I'm using APTL 3.0.3; the site tells me the...

My brother in law and his family live in Eaglesham...which appears to me to be about to be eaten by EK. My mother in law still lives in EK and the kids like visiting. The kids like EK because they can walk into town easily and there's a great ice rink, plus a covered shopping centre free of...

Bug Buttons missing in version 3.0.3 vbulletin 4.2.0

OK, that's great thanks. I think I'm sorted now. :D

Bug Buttons missing in version 3.0.3 vbulletin 4.2.0

I think by this you may mean the exclusivity button. That could be my problem as I've just got one of the other buttons to appear. For anyone like me that's new to this permissions have to be set for each button for each forum and at the bottom of the list of settings to change for each button...

Question How do I set permissions so that the vbmail navigation tab is registered users only?

That's a pity..... That's a pity. It would be an advantage to be able to set the permissions so that only registered users could view the tab. I guess you could change the field with the sent from email address to say "information" and set an automatic reply email address advising people on...

Bug Buttons missing in version 3.0.3 vbulletin 4.2.0

No, I'm viewing it in Firefox which is my standard. I've just discovered the manuals at the start of each thread, I was just puzzled initially that the instructions weren't in the html file that came with the download. Where I'm up to at the moment is that I can view the menus on the left hand...

Question How do I set permissions so that the vbmail navigation tab is registered users only?

I'm trying out vBmail and thinking about the pro version. I have already noted that you can just turn the navigation bar tab on and off. I have vBMail lite mod installed on my test installation. If I turn the tab to "on" the tab appears to users who aren't registered or logged in. I've...

Bug Buttons missing in version 3.0.3 vbulletin 4.2.0

Just found the answer to my own question. For anybody wrestling with this it was an administrator permissions issue which was causing the configuration menus not to appear in the left hand side of the vBulletin admincp. However, there are still no instructions in the html file entitled...

Bug Buttons missing in version 3.0.3 vbulletin 4.2.0

I've just purchased version 3.0.3 and installed it on my test site. First comment is that there are no installation instructions in the html file entitled "Documentation" in the download. I have installed all the files from the upload folder, including thanks.php, into the root of the site. I...

So what do you guys think about vB5?

I'm not in a position to say at the moment. We use vBulletin 4.2.0 and we use both the content management system and the calendar. As neither of these features is presently in vB5 we can't even test it properly at the moment. I have an open mind about it.

Just joined your forum because I just discovered your mailing list mod, vBmail, at vBulletin.org. We're in Hertfordshire UK: You seem to be based in Glasgow UK, the other partner in my business was born in East Kilbride and we still have family up there in the rain and the midgies ;). I was...
