Legacy Sub-domain for one category of forums?

What about would have to go into dbseo to make it so a set of forums would work on a separate sub-domain than other forums on the same site? Could it all be done with redirects or would you have to go as far as installing vbulletin again inside the sub-domain?

I think this would be best added as a dedicated feature of the mod, we already do something similar for the CMS and Blog, so it shouldn't be a big problem to add it for forums as well :)
 
This will be partially implemented in the next version. You'll be able to set a subdomain for all forum-related URLs (forum, forum prefix, thread, poll, printthread), and we'll expand on this functionality in a future version :)
