Unique items can't be purchased, even once. The item can be added to the cart, but a unique error is produced when finishing checkout to purchase it, despite not owning it yet.

This should be resolved in the next version.

I'll leave this ticket open as I don't have time to test it in detail just now, but I've made appropriate changes that should resolve it.

I've confirmed @ your test site this appears to be resolved in Beta 6. Feel free to let me know if that's not the case, and let me know how you reproduced the issue.

If you had 2 copies of the unique item in your cart prior to Beta 6 being installed on your test board, those 2 copies will still be purchasable. It should not be possible to add more than one copy to the cart, however.

In the latest change I enforced a quantity of 1 when the cart is being updated, though I suppose I could also make the quantity field disabled / hidden for those items.

I discarded all of my unique items to test it again, but then it wouldn't let me purchase one. It said there's already one in my cart but there's not

Never mind, I must have been testing with the old item that got messed up, but the new one is letting me add it to the cart.

By latest change do you mean in the next beta? It lets me purchase them in the current beta (not just increase the quantity visually at checkout, but also proceed and get them in my inventory)

I meant the latest build of b6 installed on your test board.

I'll push the checkout change as well to your test board because I found a different issue with the trade post reactions when looking at your test board's server log.

Oh yeah I forgot to tell you I stole your design :D

Well some of it anyway, I couldn't very well delete the rating / pricing label row like you did, so I kept the purchase button without the price, so your customisations will still be valid.

For the list view I made the pricing label itself the purchase button.

I also agree with you that stock info is much more important in the list / grid views than created / updated date. That's a remnant from those views being copypasted from DB eCommerce 😅

Being able to add to the cart from the shop page again definitely makes the purchasing process faster. We will probably still end up customizing the template to remove the ratings there, but it will be better that the purchase button is in the base template.
