Due to the rapid advancements of performance & re-structuring going on with vBulletin 5, a few issues in vBShout cropped up as a result. To fix these issues, we're releasing vBShout v6.1.0 Alpha 7, available immediately for users running vBulletin 5.0.4 or higher.
This release fixes the inability to see shouts unless the Site Builder was turned on, as well as another issue related to compatibility with IE8 & lower.

Change: Changed the IE8 & lower compatibility check to use HTML Pseudo-tags
Fix: The jQuery Template class was no longer available by default as of 5.0.5, causing shouts not to load correctly
Fix: Fixed "$ is not defined" errors in the Error Console
