DragonByte Tech is proud to present yet another addition to our portfolio of free modifications, vBSearch Log, available immediately for vBulletin 4.x.x.
Why use, vBSearch Log?
Myself, as alot of members on here, have at times wanted to know what the members or guests are searching for on our sites. vBSearch Log logs every search query made on your forum after installation. Useful to see what the members or guests are searching for on our sites.
Lets say you run a site that is about cars. You look in the search log and see that there is quite a few searches for Corvette Stingray. Now you look on your forums and see there is not to much information about Corvette Stingray. So what you could do is find some info to post in your forums about that.
Lets say you run a site that is about gaming. You look in the search log and see that there is quite a few searches forBorderlands 2. Now you look on your forums and see there is not to much information about Borderlands 2. So what you could do is find some info to post in your forums about that.
So in theory, by adding missing information about such things should, retain your existing members and get guests to register, cause members and guests found what they are looking for, and have no need to go look elsewhere.
There is no settings for the mod, just the log. There also is no branding, as it is a admin only mod.
