Bug Users unable to subscribe

Hello Fillip,

Users are unable to subscribe from the Digest.

Did you know you can change how often you receive these digests with one click? If you click here, you will receive these digests even less frequently.

If you click here instead, you will receive them a little more often.

Click here to unsubscribe

Users are given the three options to unsubscribe to from the digest, however when one of the three links is clicked the following error occurs: "Oops! We ran into some problems. You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action."
 
Could you try updating to v4.1.0 Beta 6 and see if this resolves the issue? It won't allow users to unsubscribe using existing emails, but future digest emails will work fine.

New options are also added to the Preferences page that will help users control their subscription.

You can access v4.1.0 by going to your license area, clicking Download, then choosing v4.1.0b6 from the drop-down (it'll auto-select the latest non-beta release).

Please edit your config.php file and add $config['enableListeners'] = false; then try accessing the AdminCP again.

If the problem persists, feel free to PM me with an FTP and AdminCP account and I can look into it for you.
 
Sorry for the difficulties, and thank you for providing the access :)

I disabled the add-on, upgraded it, and cleaned the /src/addons/DBTech/Mail folder of old files. The forum appears to be working fine now :)

One further question, Fillip.

How do I edit the master value or enable the phrase text for the inactive reminder body text?
 
Sorry for the delay. The phrase in question is dbtech_mail_inactivity_reminder_body, with dbtech_mail_inactivity_reminder_title being the subject :)

I have edited the phrase text, however the Master value is not updating with the changes that have been made.
