Question Upgrade from XF1?

hello

we have bought this addon (DBTech credits) for XF1 a while back.
still using it, thank you for your hard work.

we are planning an upgrade to XF2.
I have seen that your addon has a version that is compatible with XF2.

1) do I have to pay again for the upgrade?

2) do you have an upgrade guide ?

As long as your license remains valid (i.e. the expiry date is in the future, or you bought a Lifetime license) there is no charge for the XF1 to XF2 upgrade.

I believe the upgrade should be seamless after upgrading your board to XenForo 2.2, but do keep a backup just in case

thanks Fillip, but how exactly does the upgrade work? like this? :
1. we upgrade the board to XF 2
2. the old XF1 addon will not work anymore and therefore automatically disabled during the upgrade
3. we just install the XF2 addon (not "upgrade", but "install")
4. it will use the existing data / nothing will be lost?

is that right?

XenForo 2 does support upgrading from “legacy” (XF1) add-ons, but I don’t know if anyone has actually completed that process. The steps you outlined are how it would work, in theory.
