Question Shop question for guest viewing

This may not be a bug and if not maybe a feature suggestion.

I have set permission masks for guests to not have view of the shop. Actually, I have turned off for guests all aspects of the shop.

When a guest visitor is viewing the site, and for some reason navigates the the shop page, they are greeted with an empty shop with a a few blocks showing zeros and no items created.

I wish the shop would return an error page like the stock forum error pages that show that you do not have access and has the login form fields on it.

If I missed a setting to accomplish that? or is this a feature suggestion I am offering.

Have you set the global “View” permission or only turned it off for every item?

I only set the permissions in the guest usergroup.

Thank you for reporting this issue, it has now been resolved. We are aiming to include any changes that have been made in a future release (7.1.0).

Change log:

Change: Turning off the global "View" permission will now also show a "No Permission" error on the main store page
