Not sure I understand this:

Recurring Subscription Support: Coupons support recurring subscriptions, with "grandfathering". This means that even if a coupon runs out of remaining uses, people who have already purchased a subscription will still receive their discount and their subscription proceeds uninterrupted.


Does this mean if we create a 10% off coupon, the user gets 10% off every year thereafter?

That's correct. As long as their subscription does not lapse, the coupon will continue to apply. If they let their subscription lapse, or they cancel it, the coupon will be subject to the same validity checks (such as remaining uses).
