Legacy Notifications on two tabs

Hello

There is a feature that lets me enable a separate tab for the notification, such as for the new threads or new replies.
Now, if there is a separate tab for it, why would the notification also show up on the main chat?

Because the notifications tab was designed as a way for users to see forum notifications only, not to serve as a replacement for notifications appearing in the main chat

As a replacement would be nice.
I dont want the notifications to be shown on the main tab, it turns users away and I already received complaints from my users.
It was almost the same issue with VSA-chatbox and the thread/post notification addon. Had to remove it because of the complaints.
