No points for admin?

Is there a block on admins (who are uneditable) in the config file from gaining credits?

You can turn off admin earning in several ways. You can mark them as excluded in the usergroup permissions, you can mark individual users as unable to earn specific currencies, and when you are configuring events, you can select groups who will earn them (and de-select the admin group)
