Not planned Need to manage subsribtion to digest independantly

Hi,

Currently, when a user chooses to not receive by email any news and updates from the website, he receives anyway the digest.
It is not GDPR compliant.
When choosing at 1st to receive nothing, members should not receive the digest.

As proposed by Snoopy5 here (https://xenforo.com/community/threads/dbtech-dragonbyte-mail-paid.137962/post-1372297), we should have 2 seperate registration and unsubscription possibilities.

There are no changes planned here, as the digest uses XenForo's email stop system. If someone wishes to stop all emails from XenForo after installing this add-on, the flag is updated.

Hi Fillip,
The issue here is not the availability and feasability to stop to receive the digest. I agree with you it is possible to unsubscribe easily.
The issue is that you are subscribed by default to the digest newsletter. It is clearly not GDPR compliant which asks for an opt-in and even a double opt-in for all subscribtions to a newsletter whatever the newsletter content is (commercial or not).
