Im not sure if a feature like this already exists in the ecommerce addon. But a lot of big retailers such as amazon for instance use a system like "loyalty points". Means f.e. everytime you pruchase something on amazon, you will receive some loyalty points. As a customer you can collect those and if you purchase x amount of items you can use the collected points in order to purchase the product. Lets say I sell a product for (10€ / 100 loyalty points) and with every purchase you receive 10 points. After 10 purchases you would have enough loyalty points to purchase the product just with the points. This could motivate users to repurchase.
Additionally users could be given access to send loyalty points to other customers for instance. Like customer A has 90 points (needs 10 more for a purchase) Customer B can send him 10 from his points.
What do you think about this idea? Can this be implemented by any chance?
I personally think it would uplift the customer experience.
