I'm trying to add an item with a 0 currency cost and 100 currency sellback value, so i can use it as a gift card for staff to send to other members for contests, etc. However, every time I save it, it resets to a 0 sellback value, because it can't be sold back for more than what it's bought for. I assume this is intentional, but I can't find another way to award currency outside of editing in the ACP.

Also, would it be possible to add checkmarks to sellback multiple items at once?

If not, could you add a feature to gift currency, the with permissions to who can and can do that?

In addition, I'd like to bring attention to this suggestion by my fellow administrator from our forum:
In the XF 1.5.x version of the shop, you could extend the duration of items by buying multiple of the same items(or different items promoting users to the same usergroup). However, in the 2.x version of the shop, this isn't possible? Our community was used to buying multiple versions to extend the duration of their items, however, now they cannot do this anymore. It would be greatly appreciated if this feature could be reintroduced to the 2.x version of the shop.

Hello @Oro Jackson,

Thank you for your suggestion for DragonByte Shop. Your request will be reviewed by a member of our team shortly.

Unless there are any problems preventing these features from being added to the product, this thread will not receive another reply until it is time to review logged feature requests for implementation.

We appreciate you taking the time to help us improve our products!

With the DB Credits add-on, you can add a Redeem event. That would be the preferable way of doing this.

I think this sentence is the most actionable part of this request; I'll rename the thread to reflect this so I know for future reference. I can certainly look into leveraging the Inline Moderation feature in XF2 to mass-apply actions such as activate/deactivate/hide/unhide/discard/sellback.

If not, could you add a feature to gift currency, the with permissions to who can and can do that?
I don't believe I'll be adding too many advanced currency features into DB Shop, since that would overlap with the DB Credits functionality.

Thank you for your help, as for my question of it being possible that the sellback price be higher than the buying price? Would this be possible?

Thank you for suggesting this feature, it has now been implemented. We are aiming to include any changes that have been made in a future release (6.3.0).
