I currently have an issue creating a backup of my vB database. Upon further investigating I found inside my database I have a table called dbtech_forumads_impression. This table is 1.1 GIG in size! Every time me or my web host tries to export our database we get to this table and the server times out. They tell me a table of this size is the issue. Can you explain to me how to reduce the size of this table? I looked all through my vBulletin adminCP and cannot find a way to purge this table. Inside the DBTech Forum Ads drop down menu on the left column there is nothing there that lets me purge, optimize, etc. the content of this table.
Looking at the table inside my database it seems to be storing the following: impressionid, contentid, contenttype, dateline, ipaddress. The information stored in these columns looks to be a record of each ip address that clicks on our sponsors banner? I may be wrong here. There is a total of 16885860 entries in this table! Please help. I do not have a backup of my database due to this table.
