Question Brand Free

I have purchased this add-on and really have no major issues with it (other than I would like more ability to accumulate credits based upon finer 3rd party add-ons participation/integration - namely XenAddons offerings as they are one of the biggest players in the XF add-on extensions).
But my main question is... is branding free per ITEM or is it developer products wide where one branding free works with all add-ons?
If per item... that's a little bigger money grab than I would prefer and will start looking at (for the credits offering at the base level) other products. I'm been also looking at moving away from Nobita's social groups add-on... but another $50-$75 will push me to other offerings that are unbranded.
A brand wide branding free option would probably be a good choice for the users.. but I realize not really for you (based upon projected income). Not everybody runs their sites and have income from ads, subscriptions and similar. So some of us cannot afford the several hundred dollars that brand free to get away from the obnoxious footer branding costs.

First of all, I want to clarify that you would only be seeing one line in the footer, no matter how many of my addons you have installed. You can see it here @ this site.

Branding Free is indeed per addon. If you require branding free for all addons, past, present, and future, you might want to grab the Global Branding Free license, which will automatically strip branding from any addon downloaded from here;

Yes... but two URL links in one line is rather excessive.
You could clean that up easily by just using DragonByte Technologies™ ©2011-2025 and dump the additional link for DragonByte Technologies. Tad bit of overkill there to push two links in the footer and it really looks rather trashy.
You could clean that up a bit by removing at least one of them.
And Yeah... $300+ dollars is higher than I prefer for a free site. But I realize that is how some choose to generate income.
Thanks... I will be looking at some alternatives for both social groups and changing to another credits add-on that already provides branding free built in.
If your Credits add-on made fuller use of XenAddons products (and other 3rd party major developers) I would be a little more interested in keeping it and even paying for the branding free... but almost all of the others make use of the default XF core and 1st party add-ons similar to DB Credits.

If you can provide a list of all 3rd party addons (ideally with XenForo.com links) you’d like to see integrated with Credits, I’ll put it on my todo list to ask the developer(s) for dev licenses so I can look into it

It’s not guaranteed to be possible, depending on whether the developer took other addons in mind when coding the addon, so in some cases it might be up to said addon to provide Credits integration - I do have a system to easily add new event triggers

For me... the primary one is any of the add-ons from Bob over at XenAddons. Those are the primary ones I use on my site.

I'm honestly surprised that integration with at least a few of those (AMS, CAS and RMS) have not already been done as Bob has been developing them for a few years and they are used by quite a few sites.
Since I will probably be removing Nobita's Social Groups add-on since it gets very little use, the $70 for the one-off brand free won't kill me as I did not see any other offerings other than the mail one here that interested me... and I have to hope that in the next 5-10 years the Xenforo developers will stop sitting on their thumbs and add code into XF directly that support bounce and complaints from SES and other paid MTA providers, especially when places like Amazon provide an API for that. But I do also realize that XF developers run at a glacial pace and they would have difficulty keeping up with changes in a timely manner.

You’ve seen the event triggers in Credits, I’ll need to know what actions in each addon should trigger an event.

Submitting content in any of them that is approved.
Posting a comment on content for any entry.
Rating any of the content.
Creating a series on those add-ons that support it.
Voting on content that allows it.
Asking a questions.
Answering a question.

Honestly... I would suggest you get in touch with Bob and see what he might think would be the most popular.... as mine would be more specific to my site but he could probably give you better feedback as what his license holders would appreciate seeing.
His add-ons extend Xenforo massively... and ultimately is one of the only reasons I am still running the script and dealing with the fools over at XF via tickets.
