I would like to do 301 redirects on old posts that have been deleted.
Is there a way to do this within DragonByte SEO?

301 Redirects should only be used for pages that have moved/changed urls. 301's actually point the old page to a specific new location.

DBSEO by default handles missing/deleted pages with a "404 Not Found" error. The settings for this are in the DBSEO AdminCP's: SEO Settings - General Settings.

Quite correct, you should send HTTP 404 for old deleted posts so that they are removed from Google's index :)
