Using fake email domains has become commonplace for valid users. Many prominent email services offer this now. If we allow such registrations we run into problems with bounce rates and dead accounts. If we reject such signups, we miss out on quite a few valid users.

Please consider to disallow fake email to be submitted in the signup form.
On the signup form, do a live check when the email address is filled in (similar to the password check)
If the email domain is banned, display 'This email domain is invalid' on the form and do not allow the form to be submitted.

I would strongly recommend using the email ban feature in XF for this, to avoid additional costs.
