Question Username item

I'm looking to add an item after the username in the postbit and member profiles. What would be the best approach? Should I select custom item or username style (pre-defined)? Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say "Item after the username". Items would appear in the postbit underneath the user name.

You may be able to add an icon using advanced CSS in the Username Style (Pre-Defined) item, but it's not officially supported.

Sorry, I didn't explain that properly. I meant, the item icon appearing after the username.

I don't believe that would be possible at this time, since the free-form CSS field expects normal CSS styles only, not CSS selectors.

Is there a way to only display items in the postbit from a specific category? Possibly an if is check? If so, would you kindly share that with me?

You can use these per-item settings:


The first setting prevents it from showing in the postbit (or in the "Inventory" tab on their profile), but it will still show up in their dbtech-shop/inventory Inventory page.

The second setting hides the item completely, even from the users themselves.
