After the release of vBShout v6.2.0 we received some feedback from some of our most loyal customers regarding the changes we made to the "activity" tracking: While the increased accuracy was a good thing, certain actions now triggered activity that previously did not, and their users wished to revert to the previous behaviour. To address this, we're releasing vBShout v6.2.1, available immediately to Pro customers and Lite users.
This feature implements two new features related to activity tracking: "Invisibility" toggle by clicking the activity indicator (Lite) and the ability to choose what actions trigger activity (Pro).
When the user flags themselves as invisible, they are hidden from the active users block for all chat rooms and the main shoutbox, even while entering new shouts!
The new activity trigger settings are per-instance, meaning that a separate Staff shoutbox can still display what staff members are available for chat even if your users want different settings in the "main" shoutbox.
