Hot on the trail of the successful beta release of vBShop v2.0.1 comes the beta release of its first update, 2.1.0 Beta 1 which is available immediately to our vBShop Pro customers.
Since there's no huge sweeping changes like v2.0.0 (which I'm pleased to report has not crashed a single forum!) we see no need for a huge beta message this time
The main new feature in this version is User Shops!
This feature will allow users to create their own items (using the Custom Item item type only) and sell them in their own shops.
Because user-created shops and items use the same kind of form input as the AdminCP does, and insert into the same database tables, you as administrators will have complete control over these shops and items from your AdminCP.

Lotteries are still missing, however they will be restored in the Gold version of vBShop 2.1

- Fix: Shop hover popup would have an incorrect display when certain characters were present in the shop title
- Fix: Item hover popup would have an incorrect display when certain characters were present in the item title
- Fix: (Pro) The buyer would be refunded their purchase if the Shop Owner setting was used
- Fix: (Pro) The shop owner would not have the Sell Back price withdrawn from their account
- Fix: Buyback Time display in the Item hover popup was incorrectly shown as Days, not Hours
- Fix: (Pro) Duration-enabled items will now properly activate upon purchase, eliminating confusion for members wondering why their usergroup change didn't take effect
- Fix: Corrected activation upon purchase for some vBulletin versions
- Fix: The Latest Customer column wasn't updating properly upon purchase
- Fix: The Shop Icon would incorrectly be used for both icon displays in the AdminCP
- Fix: SQL error on user deletion
- Change: There's now a link to the Shop in the left side navigation menu
- Change: (Pro) It is now possible for the bank to go into minus. It is not possible to withdraw more than the total contents of the bank, but shop owners may go into debt if customer sell back items and the shop owners have spent the sale money. This should also offer additional protection against people attempting to exploit the bank.
- Change: (Pro) Each user may now only own one shop (the Owner field in the Shop editing interface). This is because the front-end Shop Management assumes that the visiting user either owns one shop or none.
