Hey all,

Tonight, we're proud to release vBActivity & Awards v3.1.0 Beta 1 for vBulletin 4.x and vBulletin 3.8.x, available immediately to Pro customers. This release is 100% made up of the most popular features requested by you, our customers.

Activity Contests get a major upgrade this version, with three new major features!

You can now create Recurring Contests, which will automatically create an identical contest with the same time frame at a specified interval. Celebrating the birthday of your forum with a special contest is easier than ever, as you can make the contest automatically recur every year.
Additionally, you can now recalculate winners for contests that in the past found no winners (or newly created contests with start & end dates in the past).

You can also specify a separate amount of users to display in the "Current Standing" - for instance, you can display the top 10 users in line to win a contest with only 5 winners. This can greatly help incentivise people who may be closer to the top than they realise to push ahead for the win!

Lastly, via new usergroup permissions you can now specify usergroups that can create & edit contests via the front-end! If you've ever wanted to give someone a "Contest Master" title but didn't want them as a moderator of your forum, now you can!

Speaking of usergroup permissions, you can now set fine-grained permissions for what your moderators can do in the ModCP for this mod. Each individual page in the ModCP now has its own permission. As per your request, the ability to grant a new Award to users is separate from the ability to add/edit/delete an award.

We've also added a few new Points Types; Points for Attachments, and Points for [DBTech] DragonByte Gallery Uploads!

Speaking of Points Types, the ability to create Criteria that only apply to a specific forum has been added, allowing untold new combinations of Achievements and Promotions. Have a public forum for user-posted news? You can now add a new achievement "Journalist" for threads posted in this forum!

We've also made other tweaks & changes based on your feedback, read the Complete Change Log below for the full scoop.
