Not sure if DD is already able to do this, however if not please consider a suggestion (If this is already possible or has been tested via another 3rd party add-on then please could you let me know!).....
1. Gift Upgrades - By default this will upgrade the user upgrading - however it gives the option/choice to donate and gift an upgrade to another user (of course, the users name needs to be supplied!)
2. Expiry reminders - It would be great to be able to prompt people - if the donation is an expiring one - that their upgrade is about to expire (in a certain number of days...) This would keep revenue streams going for the site in question.
