Question Upgrade procedure

Hi

I have decided that I am going to install vBSuper PM's on my forum to replace an existing "free" system that seems to have stopped working with vBulletin v 4.2.0 so, whilst doing this I think it may be time to upgrade/renew my Advanced post thanks software at the same time..... really old v2.0.2 installed...

Can anyone give me an "idiot guide" to upgrading to the latest version? I do not want to lose any of the thanks/likes etc already on the site...

Upgrading is quite simple, all's you have to do is upload all the files from the upload directory, then import the product XML file. In other words, exactly identical to how you first installed it

Nothing should be lost on upgrade, though with such an old database I do recommend taking a backup, just to be safe. If anything goes wrong, we'll be on hand to assist
