Hello Everyone,

I installed the dragonbyte seo pro back in july. From that point my overall traffic has reduced by 40%. I assume it's because of the dragonbyte seo and not saying it's a bad thing yet as i realize that everything has to reindex but it's been about a month and a half with no signs of improvement at this point.

Has anyone else experienced this or have suggestions how to fix this. I only just recently added some high and moderate keywords to see if that would help but would assume i would not see the results for a few weeks at least but looking for any further information as i know there must be others out there that have had the same issue.

Regards,

Shawn

I'd suggest checking Google Analytics for the traffic sources before and after the installation. If the traffic was mostly organic before and is not now, then it's obviously unrelated to DBSEO as it can't control who chooses to visit your site via external links. If the traffic was mostly from search engines before and that has taken a hit, try opening an Incognito/Private Browsing window in your browser and search Google for the keywords you are trying to target, see where your forum ends up.

yes you are correct, our position in google has dropped significantly going from rank 3-4 for search terms to page 3-4 in many search terms. Nothing had changed besides installing dragonbyte seo.. you can tell exactly by looking at analytics because on the date i installed.. all traffic dropped, search engine organic dropped.. etc... are there settings that might be better or optimization? I dont care if i have to pay for it but a drop of 50% i'm noticing is huge

Have you signed up for Google Webmaster Tools and added your sitemap to it? DBSEO automatically submits sitemaps, but you can also manually add it to GWT in order to see its performance.

Did you move from vbseo to dbseo or was it a clean install? If a clean install a drop is expected since all of your URL's changed. It'll take at least 3 months to see things turn around again, and hopefully start to get better. :)
