Question Purchase credits via paypal

Hi Fillip,

I created a new credit event where users can purchase Rs. 1000 for $10 via paypal. Transactions are moderated.

Someone purchased it and I did receive the money and notification from paypal.

However, the credits (Rs 1000) haven't been added to the user and I haven't received anything on the approval queue. This event is not even recorded in the transactions log.

What could be the reason?

Are you sure your user has the permission to moderate credits? In other words; do other moderated transactions show up in the approval queue for you?

Yes, I do receive other moderated transactions in the approval queue without any issues. However, in this particular case, nothing showed up in the queue after the user completed the payment. There's also no record of the transaction in the log, and the user hasn't received the credits either.

I'm wondering if the issue could be related to the Paypal flow... when the user clicks "purchase," they're redirected to Paypal to complete the payment, but it seems like the transaction may not have synced back with the addon once the payment was completed.
Could this be a possible cause?

Alright, the last thing I can think to check before I dig deeper is; are you able to check phpMyAdmin or similar database management tools to see if a corresponding record exists?

I am unable to replicate any issues with the system:


The only thing I can think of that is missing from your original screenshots is the "Applicable user groups" setting. Make sure it's set to "All user groups" and under "Content ownership restriction", set to "Always allow for either".
