Bug Not all new posts or replies display

Hi,

Not all posts or new replies display in DBT Info panels. I am lost or unable to find a pattern in which display and do not display, but I will suggest that 95% of new posts or replies display.

For example, this post does not display in Info Panels: https://www.christforums.org/forum/christian-community/god/7745-is-god-male
And neither does this one: https://www.christforums.org/forum/...ity-and-laws/6677-biblical-restitution-ethics

Other posts and resulting replies to those posts within the same category display.

If you PM me with an FTP and AdminCP account I can take a look, but do bear in mind that vB5 is currently more or less unsupported due to the gross negligence Internet Brands has shown towards their vB5 product, especially in terms of modification development.

If you are interested in running modifications on your site, I would strongly recommend switching to vBulletin 4.2.3 or XenForo at this time.

Also I have a question about your statements... . I was considering purchasing Ajax threads, but if there is no ongoing support for any of your VB5 products please advise, because that of course would deter me from doing so.

We have currently suspended development of our vB5 mods indefinitely, as we are focusing on expanding into the XenForo market. The XenForo developers have taken an active interest in supporting the modification community, whereas Internet Brands have shown they have absolutely no interest in supporting custom modifications.

If you are interested in running custom modifications on your forum, I would strongly recommend you switch to vB4 or XenForo at this time.

I estimated the cost of a migration to Xenforo and came over a thousand dollars. It isn't a practical solution for me at this time, and by time I did have enough funding - VB5 will have reintroduced the PHP Hook System already.

I have all categories set to display in the Admincp, only infractions are set not to display.

This is the only bug I can find or am aware of for DB Info Panels at this time.

The reason why this is happening is the fact that the post isn't considered a post by vBulletin, it's considered a video entry. Whenever someone attaches a video to a post, it's no longer considered a post.

Is there a way for these to show regardless of a video or picture being attached? I post plenty of pictures and video in posts and they do display. I don't understand why random members and their posts do not display regardless of whether they attach something, because mine show?

When you reply to a thread, IIRC you have the option of leaving a text, image or video reply. Just attaching a video doesn't change the content type apparently.

I'm curious - why do all posts show in VB's Today's Newest Posts but not in DB Infopanels? https://www.christforums.org/search..."},"exclude_type":["vBForum_PrivateMessage"]}

Please lemme know whether this is something DB is going to try solve or leaving as is.

As I mentioned previously, the reason why certain replies do not show up is because their content type has been changed by vBulletin from "Text" to something else.

I have customised your copy of InfoPanels to disable this restriction, let me know if this works better for you.

Private messages are now showing. That's the only complaint I have.... If you could address this one problem consider it resolved.

This definitely works better except for the titles of private messages and infractions are showing in the info panel now. I definitely need both infractions and private messages filtered from displaying. I may pull the info panels off line until this is resolved by disabling the product in admincp. If you see it is offline when you go to work on it please enable it through products in admincp. I have written to members by making a forum wide post informing people not to use the private message section until this is resolved.
