How to use donate and expire from group upgrade after XX amount of time?

What I mean is after a donation is made for XX $ and the user is added to a new secondary user group based on the threshold settings, how do I set that group to expire after a certain amount of time based on the donation amount? I realize I can manually do an upgrade and set an expiration, but is there a way to do this automatically?

Question - Unconfirmed Donations and Custom Amount

Are the pending/unconfirmed donations found at the bottom part of donation drive page visible to everyone or just the admins? And is it possible to disable the custom amount option so members will only be able to donate predefined amounts?

Just like you, everytime a donation was made I manually upgrade the user depending on the amount donated. We have 4 different upgrade tiers and we're hoping we could automate the user upgrade process based on the amount donated.
