Is there a way / option to add a user's credits to their trophy score? In this way as users contribute to the forums they gain additional points

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "add a user's credits to their trophy score". You should not use the trophy points as a credits points column as this will conflict with standard XenForo functionality.
