Thanks Filip. If you have a sample screenshot of the layout of the default email digest template it would help.

One thing I would add, a richer email digest experience is a definite must to keep folks from coming back.

Sorry, I don't understand the question.

By default, it will still only support threads, but it will be able to be expanded upon in the future.

No, there are no changes to the functionality of the thread content type in the upcoming version, as that's not the goal of this particular update.
