Bug DB Mail - Digest - Duplication in Advanced Sort

So, further to my other bug report (non-advanced sort not pulling any new threads), advanced sort seems to be pulling the exact same threads over and over again. These are mammoth threads (thousands of views/posts) and it's pulling the exact same snippet (first post) of each.

This is not a good user experience as users will simply think it's a duplicate digest as the newer content always comes after the repeated mammoth threads (may need a date sort).

It needs a deeper look.

Given that non-advanced doesn't seem to work at all for me (see thread below), digest is a bit of a challenge to use right now.

This is working as intended. Advanced Sort will look at all threads that have had posts in the past 7 days, and sort them based on days since last post, weeks since creation, and posts by thread.

The snippet will always show the first post, as the goal is to incentivise people to get interested in the topic, not show a post that may just be nothing more than "Thanks" :P

Given that non-advanced doesn't seem to work at all for me (see thread below), digest is a bit of a challenge to use right now.
I've identified an issue that would explain why standard sorting wasn't working, a fix will be in the next version.
