DB Credits Queries

Hi

I'm on the verge of buying this product - looks great - just a couple of queries...

In the events its says

1. Post Rate - Rating a post using the "Post Ratings" mod
2. Post Rated - Someone else rated your post using the "Post Ratings" mod

Is this the Xenforo 1 addon? as I can't find a 2.1 version: the closest I have found is "content ratings" (https://xenforo.com/community/resources/content-ratings-for-xf2-1.5600/). We'd very much like to add a thread rating system like we had on our old forum...

Secondly, the description isn't clear how you "spend" these credits - we have in mind that they can be used in the "User Upgrades" feature of xenforo - is this possible?

Those two events refer to the XF1 version of this add-on yes, but the XF 2.1 version fully supports its built-in content ratings system. You no longer need a third party add-on to achieve this functionality.

It is not possible to spend credits on user upgrades directly, but with the DragonByte Shop add-on you can choose to sell items that change people's user groups similar to user upgrades.

On an alternative note, would credits be able to be spent, say creating a new thread in a specific forum - i.e. they have to have say 10 credits to create a post... That would remove the requirement for user upgrades functionality - or is it still a job for DB Shop?

You can set up a new event in DB Credits that charges users 10 credits for posting in specific forum(s)
