Bug Credits 5.2.1 doesn't work?

Yeah, likely user error but upgraded XF 2 to 2.1 (after disabling credits 5.1). Upgraded to Credits 5.2.1. All good. Now no event triggers.

Checked settings and user group permissions and all is well.

Even did a full cache rebuild but still nada...

My transaction log stops after the upgrade. No credits are awarded for any event (like, post etc). No errors logged.

Okkkaaay, now it starts working... Somehow. Were permissions drastically changed between 5.1 and 5.2?

Something is not quite right with permissions or with my understanding of it.

I have a new test user in Registered group User A. I have react events enabled ONLY for Registered group with a non-charge credit event. When I react (like) with user A on a post by user B (not in registered group) I get nothing. On paper this should work no?

If I add ALL user groups to the react event then it works as designed.
