Legacy Change select box to check boxes?

Hi there, instead of highlighting the links, can we maybe add check boxes? I think it would be better no?

That's kind of how it works with OOB vB code. I'm using vb functions to create the usergroup selection in the ACP. Using checkboxes I would have to write my own functions for all that.
