Can licenses be upgraded?

For example, if I purchase a 3 month license, can I later upgrade to lifetime for whatever the difference in price is?

There is a discount, but you'll still pay more than you would by just buying the lifetime right away.

For instance I purchased a 1 year license on a mod for $54.95. The lifetime license price for the mod is $89.95.

I can renew for a year again at the $54.95 price or I can upgrade to the lifetime for $69.95. So, you can look at it as you would save $20 on the upgrade, or that you lost $34.95 by not buying the lifetime license to begin with.

Also, if the 3 months pass before you upgrade, there is no discount. There's only a discount if you upgrade within the 3 month initial purchase period.
