Question Avoid PayPal fee, sending to family/friend w/o cost?

Hi,
I am running a non profit forum (closed user group) for car enthusiasts where we use PayPal Donate 3.3.6 for donations to cover the operational forum cost. Unfortunately PayPal grabs their share of every donation, what I'd like to avoid/save.
If I send money to a family member/friend I don't have to pay this fee, so can I set up PP Donate somehow this way ?

This add-on uses XenForo's payment profile system, so this is not something we are able to control.

I just got another feedback: it doesn't work because PP does allow the "family and friends" only if NOT originated through an API, i.e. payment must be issued by a person manually, ussing the app or PP web interface.
