    Question Getting notifications to appear

    My forum has a custom skin, and I wonder if this is preventing notifications from displaying. So far, I have mentions showing up in the 'mention' tab of the user profile, but nowhere else. No browser js alert, and no notification where I would expect to see it, ie where new private messages...
