It did work just fine for me with Chrome. Would it be possible to put it back into the product, and perhaps add an on/off switch into the admin panel?

6.0.2 beta 3 The "Oldest first" option is not working in this latest release (after upgrading from a previous version); auto-scrolling in particular is not working. New messages are therefore not visible unless the user manually scrolls to the bottom.
