Well i don't know what i have done other than look at the friendly urls settings, changed nothing clicked save a couple of times and now it appears to be working... sorry to have troubled you :D

is there a place to turn it off? i can find a page of configuration settings but nothing to to it on or off ?

for just that one forum? no hints or clues what i should put in there...

what? there is no other thread or forum area with the same name that i can find .... vbseo is creating the -a at the end of an forum area url is there a way of re writing that one area to ditch the -a ? this is a big deal on my forum as it is one of the popular areas and vbseo wasnt doing...

In the process of upgrading from vb3.8.11 to vb 4.2.3 if I export / backup the settings from the 3.8 install will I be able to restore the settings into the 4.2.3 install and keep all the urls etc that are already in google etc or do I have to rewrite them some how? TIA

it doesnt turn that bit off on my site... this isnt in the footer this is in the stats on forum home page shows up on the site in your sig as well.

even if you buy a branding free key they still put their name there which i find a bit disappointing considering the money they charge for it. they should change the product description to "a little less branding" so it exactly describes what you don't get for your money. feel free to sort it ....
