Is there anyway to set the shoutbox to staff members only?

I've not noticed a pattern. If you go on the shoutbox and type out a longish sentence you will see. It, pauses, jams, lags . What I have noticed when I have the shoutbox up I cant open any tabs as it jams every website i try and load.

Both. When you type sentences don't always appear. When you type some letters don't appear in words.

Yes. Shoutbox for months hangs, even after the updates which I was ensured would sort out the issues. Explorer works better with the shoutbox but firefox hates it. I seem to get varied results from different browsers. The shoutbox is mega slow and crawls.. Words dont always appear as you type...

/dbtech/vbshout/aop was already set to CHMOD 0777 All files have been deleted inside /dbtech/vbshout/aop except for index.html The shoutbox when typing is still very slow and words/sentences don't appear straight away.

I reset $vbphrase[registration_complete] back to its original text. Hopefully that sorts the problem. Thanks for reporting the problem and thanks for your help Fillip H..

Yes, to both. But, its still the same.

Works perfectly fine on Internet Explorer but on Chrome/Firefox it is mega slow. You type out a sentence and it doesn't appear for some time. It's happening with all users. Any ideas?
