This URL: Carbonite.co.za - Free South African Tech Classifieds ... takes 6.5 seconds to 10.5 seconds to load with DBSEO active. It takes 2.66 to 3.06 seconds to load with DBSEO inactive. This is a huge impact on page speed. Can you help me make it faster?

Bug DBSEO causing huge server loads

I activated redis on VBOptimise as well. However, my load immediately jumped from 3.xx to 6.xx, and I have only around 550 users active on the forums at the moment, so it's not a lot, and the load is already quite high. Any ideas?

Bug DBSEO causing huge server loads

Ok, it now worked. I'm going to test it now. My host said that the php extension didn't load properly, as it tried to install it for the incorrect version of php. So, I now added the config.php part, and it doesn't give an error. Php.info also shows redis installed. What next? I enable DBSEO...

I'm using Filecache on VB Optimise (your mod). Other than that, it doesn't look like I am using any caching system.

Bug DBSEO causing huge server loads

Sorry, follow up question... If it's not DBSEO (and I accept that it is not), how do I debug to find out what is causing the server load? Any ideas on where I should start?

    Bug I think I found a bug?

Ok, I see that the idle/unidle thing appearing below the fold has been sorted. Thanks very much. The jumping issue seems to be better as well, but this may just be my imagination. Either way, I'll shout if I find anything else again! Thanks for your help!

I assume that I only overwrite that file with a newly downloaded version? I did this, and will be testing now. Will let you know! Thanks!
