Question DBSEO upgrade 1.2.4 to 1.3.7

Hi guys, I am running DBSEO 1.2.4 and want to upgrade to 1.3.7. In the readme says I should reupload all files and then Import the product-dbtech_dbseo.xml. Is that correct ? Won't I lose DBSEO configuration if I do this ?
Where is configuration stored?

Configuration is stored in the database and WILL NOT be affected by the upgrade. Be sure to reupload all files and reimport the .xml file allowing for overwrite.

Hi guys, one more question. Should htaccess file be modified when we upgrade ? Or this file stays the same ?
and what about sitemapcron.php ?

The htaccess has not changed

The sitemapcron file is only used if you can't use the normal sitemap cron job in vBulletin
