Question BingBot msnbot and yahoo... whats going on here? (LOL)

Noticed that the DBSEO automatic sitemap pinger shows check boxes for bing and yahoo.

I thought they were all pretty much "the same" ....

On our site, when we look in the logs, when we submit a sitemap to bing... the maps are read by msnbot, but the site is only indexed by bingbot

We still see some "slurp" action; but when I go to look at the yahoo page on submitting sitemaps, it refers to bing.



Any idea what is really going on now between bing (bingbot), msn (msnbot) and yahoo (slurp)?

That particular bit of code was copied from the vB4 sitemap, although I did remove references to Windows Live Search

If there's still Slurp activity then it's probably a good idea to keep the Yahoo one included for now
