    Bug Installation hangs

I understand. Since it alters the database before crashing I'd like to at least be able to back out of it. Is there an easy way of doing that?

Bug Fatal error: Call to undefined method THANKS

Very good. Per instructions I had edited the file before, so I had ignored that part of the instructions. Now I see that the edit has changed slightly. The new edit did the trick. Thanks for the good product support.

Bug Fatal error: Call to undefined method THANKS

I disabled all products one at a time, same problem - finally, I disabled the thanks mod itself - same error message. I disabled all hooks via config.php - still the same problem. I then re-enabled all hooks via config.php and began re-enabling each product. As I re-enable each one I get this...

Bug Fatal error: Call to undefined method THANKS

I mistakenly said v.2.0.1 but was actually running v.2.0.2. No, I'm not running the security product - never heard of it. I've reuploaded all files and reinstalled the product. The error occurs in the legacy "vertical" mode or the wide mode.

Bug Fatal error: Call to undefined method THANKS

While viewing a post, you click on the poster's name you get a menu that includes "view forum posts." However, when you click on it you get a white screen. The error is: Fatal error: Call to undefined method THANKS::parse_bbcode() in /xxx/xxx/public_html/community/vb/legacy/post.php on line...

    Question Start Crashing the forum

Believe it or not, that helped solve it. I didn't know to go to the class_install.php file so I hadn't seen that error. Once I had the error I had a clue as to the problem. This is a Windows Server running IIS. I won't tell you I understand all this, but here's what created the problem...

    Question Start Crashing the forum

I don't know what happened. I saw several .php errors related to this product. They look like this: PHP Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required 'C:\Inetpub\xxx\xxx/dbtech/thanks/hooks/init_startup.php' (include_path='.;C:\php5\pear') in C:\Inetpub\xxx\xxx\includes\init.php(331) ...

I did indeed - apparently they aren't using Chrome.

    Bug Colour in 2.0.1?

I've installed the 2.0.2 update and the only color issue I still have is that in Chrome only the first color level works. I have three levels of yellow for 4, 8, and 12+ "thanks." In Firefox it works as expected. In Chrome the color remains at the first level once 4 is reached, and doesn't...

    Bug Colour in 2.0.1?

If it helps any I'll mention that I changed the click value from 4 to 04 to get into double digits right off but it didn't make any difference. ---------- Post added at 16:50 ---------- Previous post was at 15:16 ---------- I'm either not understanding what's happening sometimes or I'm getting...

    Bug Colour in 2.0.1?

Glad to check -- I changed it to 6 clicks and then down to 3 clicks - didn't make any difference, the color disappeared on click #10.

    Bug Colour in 2.0.1?

Here's another. One of my guys pointed this out to me and I was just able duplicate it. I have only one color trigger: yellow at 4 clicks. It works until the 10th click. Upon number 10 the color disappears from the post and it reverts to the regular post background color.

    Bug Colour in 2.0.1?

Right, doing that - but no matter what click number or color I give to my custom buttons nothing happens.

    Bug Colour in 2.0.1?

Something else - but related - I have a couple of custom buttons - as far as I can tell, the colors don't work at all for them.

    Bug Colour in 2.0.1?

Yeah, editing the css is easier -- thanks. Try this: try setting up different colors for different numbers of "thanks." As far as I can tell, no matter how many colors you define, the first level is the only one that works - all posts, no matter how many thanks above the first number are the...

    Bug Colour in 2.0.1?

Ha - I actually just finished doing that with yellow. I'll mention though that I also tried to change a series of them - so I'd have different levels of yellow. I only changed the "background-color" attribute and not the names...in other words, I tried to make "silver" into a pale yellow...
