Bug Tagging with German Umlauts

Dear all,
I don't know if this has been already addressed.

If you tag threads with German Umlauts (ä,ö,ü, etc. pp), for example "Überhand" oder "Ähnlichkeit" the generated tag link results in 404 page not found error.

Example tag: Überlänge
Tag URL: http://www.example.tld/tags/%FCberl%E4nge.html

under URL Rewrite Settings -> General Rewrite Settings? It's active as you can see in the attachment.

Even with version 1.3.2 it does not work correctly.

Please also make sure the Filter Tag URLs setting is turned on in the General Rewrite Settings.
