Adding private users to a download does not work. It seems that the username entered into "Private users" is never saved, making the download visible to all users with proper permissions, not just the selected private users. Also, a thread is posted to the forums for all to see, not just the selected users.

Please check that the category the file is saved to can have private downloads.
The form element is displayed regardless of whether the category can have private downloads because there's a chance another category can have private downloads.
Also, in checking this out I discovered that I made a mistake making users delimited by a comma - it should have been a semicolon. A future version will correct this oversight and update the phrase.
