Now that pirate poker has gone the way of the dodo, how about creating a decent poker mod like Zynga has on facebook ?

It's unlikely to be something we do in the near future to be honest, to be done properly requires a whole bunch of steps, from a universal points system to centralised server results etc. Generally these things only work out on really huge sites, or if players can play against people on other sites. In the former instance it severely reduces the market for it, and in the latter it requires constant management and resources and would need to be sold at significant expense.
